The Latest Bluetooth Mouse Battery Report

For those of you who are having trouble getting to sleep, or who find the fast paced world of watching paint dry just too exciting, welcome to yet another post about waiting for batteries to go flat!

As mentioned in last time's <ironic>exciting</ironic> installment, I had been getting critical alerts about the battery health in my mouse. Very shortly after this, it stopped working completely. The light still glowed away merrily. Indeed it was still doing so a day later, but radio communication was not forthcoming.

So we move on to the gripping next phase, although I need to point out a couple of corrections. Not only do I not know the correct way of capitalising the abbreviation for Lithium Ion, I don't in fact have batteries of that type anyway. On closer inspection they turn out to be NiMH AA cells. And so begins the quest to discover why the instructions tell you not to use rechargeable batteries...
