Talking About WPF

Tuesday 3 October, 2006, 03:00 PM

WPF seems to have taken over my life - it's a good thing I like it so much! Chris and I are busy getting the next edition of our WPF book ready. And when I'm not working on that that, and not working on actual WPF development projects, I'm talking about it. Judging by the demand I'm seeing for the next few months, there seems to have been a surge in WPF interest lately.

I've just done a WPF talk at JAOO. (By the way, despite from my presence lowering the tone, JAOO is an amazing conference - I don't know why it's not better known.) Of course a one hour talk on WPF is just not enough - you can barely scratch the surface in that time. Fortunately, I'll be getting the opportunity to do it justice shortly:

On 24th October, Pluralsight will be offering a public run of our WPF course in Waltham, MA, near Boston. With WPF's final release drawing ever closer, and with the growing level of interest we're seeing in WPF, this seemed like a good time to offer the course. So if you're going to be in the Boston area that week, and want to learn more about WPF, I hope I'll see you there!
